Has worked well for several nights out with my lady. spectacular room and interesting food. always a nice buzzy atmosphere. start with a cocktail on the upper floors and dig in. Staff are very good and well drilled and nothing was a problem.

I wanted to go to Taxi for my birthday dinner, and took my partner and in-laws along with me. After discussions with the waiter about how my birthday was the same day as his sister's (so he knew I was the birthday girl), we started talking about the food. We wanted to do the degustation menu, but I have a shellfish allergy, so I sought the advice of the waiter as to whether this was suitable, or if I should order from the a la carte menu and allow the other guests to 'degust'. "Absolutely, we can accommodate that, we'll change the dishes for you that include seafood, and the other members of the table can have the seafood". Well, all that happened was that the seafood elements of the dishes were removed from the plate. No substitution, no replacements, no alternative dishes. If it was a seafood salad, the seafood was removed and I got a plate of leaves. Awesome birthday dinner, right? They also charged me full price for the pleasure of getting half a dinner. I felt mislead and mistreated, and everyone I've spoken to has said that Taxi isn't what it was and has gone downhill. I wish they'd told me that before I went.

Have been a few times and consistent food and service. Great flavour combinations and amazing food. Great for a business lunch, special event or whatever. Will return when I can for sure

We have eaten at Taxi many times and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently good, with a lovely blend of Australian and Asian cooking.

The specials of the day are always worth listening to and save room for the souffles - they are divine!
