Awful - Tiny rooms, Staff who couldn't care less, and worse still - non- existent management who clearly care less still. We had one small problem after the next which anywhere else could have been dealt with swiftly. When these issues mounted and we asked to speak to a manager, we were advised they didn't have managers on duty over weekends! Nothing could be resolved and this establishment has the audacity to call itself 4 Star! It makes me very suspiscious of our rating system.
I was advised by front office staff to leave written feedback which I did. As part of that, I requested the manager phone me to discuss my concerns. That was 6 weeks ago and I have not heard anything yet.
We left an iphone charger in our room and called an hour after check out to be told it would be sent out to our home address which happens to be only about 10 kilometres away. They said they'd send it out but it would have to be COD. It was sent to the wrong address and we were expected to pay $18 when it could have been delivered in the normal post at minimal cost for less than $1 - to the right address. Still we have not received our charger. It seems business for this 4 Star is extremely. Exasperting!
Honestly, if you do not like to be treated like cattle, keep away from this place. Apart from a good location, there is absolutely nothing going for it....Tiny rooms, shabby presentation, mildew smells in bathroom and corridors and to really add insult, king size bed which was actually 2 beds put together and very uncomfortable, uninformed staff who don't seem to like their work and invisible management who clearly consider guest comfort and service a very low priority.
Don't throw your money away - there are plenty of far better choices in the city and no-one should accept service lacking to the extent that this place provides. Just awful!
It's a shame that this establishment has been let go as it has the makings of a lovely boutique hotel if only anyone cared.
