Stayed here with the family on a business trip so wanted a bit more room than a hotel.

Quay West is excellently located on the South Bank opposite Flinders St Station. We had a 1 bed apartment that has a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. We asked for a rollup bed for our 3 yr old and it was provided free of charge.

Rooms are large, well equipped with mini kitchen and 2 TVs. Hotel is very clean with friendly staff. The only downside is that there is no cafe attached to the hotel for breakfast but it's so close to the Southbank cafes it's not a real problem. Good rooms but don't expect hotel style service

I was extremely impressed with the apartments for myself and guests very modern, roomy and clean. The function room was well set up including audio and the function room service was excellent. Morning and afternoon teas were plentiful and "yummy" ... lunch well catered for all food preferences included. The staff customer service in this Hotel was exceptional, from the function and waiting staff, kitchen staff, nothing was a problem. The bar service excellent with them remembering our drink choice, the front reception brilliant offering suggestions, maps and taxi/car service. A lovely, safe, convenient location, wonderful morning walks along the river, close walking to great eating choices and into the city ... I thoroughly recommend Quay West.

Great location, Lovely accommodation, very friendly staff.

The Quay West was perfectly located for our family of 5 from the USA. We have 3 college aged children who travelled with my husband and me. Our rooms were adjoining suites with a kitchen, washer/dryer combo, king bed in one room and double beds in the other room. Both rooms had pull out sofas and balconies. It was within walking of everywhere we went.Full breakfast was included.
The staff at Quay West was very helpful and cheerful.
Our tour guide was amazing! Simon at theprivatetourguide@gmail.com was the perfect host to showcase an amazing city. He was great with out kids and was just generally fun to be with. He took us all around Melbourne.. cafes, neighborhoods, sports complexes, landmark buildings, harbour, museum and other cultural sites. He shared his knowledge in a way that was very conversational and fun. he gave us lots of tips on dinner options and the nightlife. We had a great time!
