Booked the Sebel Melbourne for 2 nights on a work trip. I arrived and checked in after work, and was appointed a room on another wing (the one at the back - room 403 - i think). I was happy with the decor, it was modern and clean and big for just one person. What I didn't like about the suite was the outside noise coming from the exhaust fan from the building across the alley. I'm a light sleeper - and the noise sounded like you're in a plane...I called the reception and asked to be moved, which they did, to a smaller -ish room on the top floor which was smaller but much quieter.
My booking came with breakfast, didn't get to sample all of it however I can say that the sausages was tasty!
I've travelled to Melbourne several times for work and have stayed in different hotels all the time; however I'd probably book the Sebel again, its convenient, and the bed was comfy.
When booking ask for a higher floor if your a light sleeper.
