Location is spot on, less than 1 minute to; tram stops, restaurants and bars. Less than a five minute walk and your in the main shopping precinct (check out The Block Arcade) or at the two main stations, Southern Cross or Flinders St.

The 1 bed apartment itself was clean, tidy and had everything you needed from pots and pans to a washing machine! The lady who made-up the rooms was very polite and always wished me a good day when I saw her.

On reception, the staff were very helpful in giving out maps and looking up events that were on in the city and printing off some information. After checking out I'd left some computer equipment in the room which they found, then e-mailed me straight away so I could collect it.

I stayed here overnight and found it to be of excellent value. I booked a one bedroom apartment and was put on the 3rd floor at the front of the building. The room was pretty big with high ceilings and plenty of room for 2 people. Checking in and out was pretty quick and the staff were friendly. I did ask to be put on the quiet side of the building but found that the front wasn't the quiet side as in the morning I was woken up by the street cleaner.All in all however it was in an excellent location, only minutes from everything and well worth the money I paid

Have stayed here a couple of times for work, I would say the hotel is good quality budget accomodation with character. Brilliant location in one of Melbournes old laneways, with a couple of good restaurants and great old pub only a few steps away. Downside is it has small laneways on each side where dumpsters and or rubbish bins are located, these are being filled and emptied at all hours so be aware. Check in staff have always been pretty friendly in my case. Dont expect the world at the price but you cannot go past the location.

Fantastic location, walking distance to most things. Easiest booking experience in some time. Everything was taken care of. Parking was cheaper through metro and everything was organised perfectly. Traveled with partner and son and even fold out bed and all extras ready in room which usually doesn't happen at so many places we have stayed. Staff were helpful with directions and even cleaned on the second day of our stay. Highly recommend staff very helpful. Location is fabulous close to many attractions, and restaurants. Room was clean and had plenty of room for son. For shopping trip, city appointment/meeting, or just a city getaway, this is the perfect location with wonderful hospitality
