My wife and I stayed at this hotel as we had a wedding to attend in the city and the reception was being held here. We decided to spoil ourselves and have a grand king room, knowing that this was going to be a little more lavish than a normal room, we were still blown away by the size and decadence of the room. There was a king size bed (obviously) but the space around the room afforded a couch and chaise lounge as well as an airmchair. There was a dressing room with an abundance of closet space and a huge mirror and lighting for my wife to prepare her make up.
The bathroom was probably the highlight for myself as most hotels have tiny bathrooms with small baths and tiny showers. Whilst the shower here was not huge, it was larger than normal, but the bath was enormous. In fact it was large enough for both of us to enjoy a soak with room to spare whilst we had a glass of wine and watched the television that was also in the bathroom. Added to this there was a seperate toilet which gives a bit more privacy.
The service at the hotel was exceptiopnal and we have discussed going back there again in the future as we had a fantastic time. Only downfall was the view as we had a room that faced the inside of the hotel and I can only imagine how nice the views externally would have been.
