“Excellent Staff, Slightly Tired Hotel.”

Slightly tired decor although I would like to add not dirty in anyway just in need of a coat of paint or two in places. Also slightly more expensive than we were expecting for an IBIS however comparing it to other hotel prices in the area it was on par so maybe that's just a Melbourne thing.
Excellent service from the front desk to the bar and restaraunt staff and although we only ate in the hotel once the food was outstanding and highly recommended!!

All in all pretty good stay.

“Soooo Basic”

This is a very budget hotel. Dirty on the outside and hallways but clean rooms. Quite away from Southbank so be prepared to catch a tram. Unfortunately I was woken by the fire alarm which I know isn't hotel management's fault. When something like this happens I think an apology from the staff in the morning would be a nice touch. You get what you pay for with Ibis.

You will be happy to know we will be having a face lift of our corridors and the front of our building this year and we are very excited to be doing so. As for the alarm I am very sorry you were awoken, thank you for your understanding, these things do happen on occasion as you say and I take on board your feedback regarding this.
