We booked a night at Central Sky Lounge as part of a Scoopon Experience. We had a bit of trouble redeeming our Scoopon as they only take a limited number on weekends.
Our Studio Room was good and considerably better than I had expected. There was a small kitchenette. The bathroom was quite well appointed.
Our package included breakfast which was fairly basic.
The day that we stayed there were major problems with their keycard system. We had to have 3 separate lots of keycards before one actually worked. Other people also had troubles too.
Several people in other reviews commented that the staff seemed disinterested. We came across a couple of staff who matched this description. However, Barbara was very friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy.
A top location very close to the Queen Vic Market.

The rooms are a good size and the kitchenette is a bonus. Service staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, near the Queen Vic Markets and only a short stroll to good shopping areas.

I have been in a conference in Melbourne and Melbourne Uni chose this hotel for all the participants.

I was in one of the apartment rooms and found the kitchen area together with all the appliances very handy to use. The hotel is right next to the Queen Victoria Market and several tram stops are closely located to the hotel totally within pleasant walking distance. The breakfast buffet was sensational and the staffs there were very friendly.

The only downside of this hotel is about the comfortableness of the bed and pillows. To be frank, I could not fall asleep during the first night. I hope the management team could replace the current bedding thingy with better ones otherwise it would be a pity considering the rooms' modern and stylish look.

Stayed here for two nights. Lovely fresh, clean apartment. All mod cons you need but so close to Queen Vic market and very short walk into CBD. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants close by. Well priced for a city location. Would definitely stay again.
