Rooms were a little small compared with others that our group of 42 used, but they were quite adequate, well furnished, very clean, serviced, and, really all that you require to visit Hobart.
Only "la-de'da's" would pay extra for other hotel rooms so close to the City Centre.!

Elevators were a little slow for a group arriving, but this was only a very minor inconvenience.

Well-appointed dining-room and bar, and we were able to use "vouchers" to pay for drinks that accompanied our final night 3-course group dinner.

Meal was quite good, but some thought that the barra portion was a little on the small side.

Unless you are prepared tp pay excessive room charges, why would you book anywhere else when visiting Hobart?

Room was very basic but adequate for our needs.

Unfortunately, I left some clothing behind in the wardrobe. My wife contacted the hotel and was told that they would look into it and return her call.

A week later, still no response. I called the hotel and asked if they had "looked" into yet and they said they would get back to me.

Still no response..... the clothes were worth more than the hotel room.

It goes without saying that I accept responsibility for leaving the clothes behind, but a lesson should be learned in after sales service by the hotel.

They've lost my future patronage and recommendation.

Room Service menu is not very good, you can't order meals from the restaurant to the room. Hotel restaurant I would rate a 2 out of 5. Staff are friendly and well mannered. Rooms are very out dated and a renovation would be good.

This hotel is in a great location, they provide free parking, rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is fine for the price, the have nice flat screen TV's and even offer free in house movies but if you want your bed made up, you'd better do it yourself. Stayed here for 3 nights a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Room was not made up at all. They did replenish tea and towels, but that's it. No one knew why this was happening, so no apology was given. Definately a training opportunity for the hotel or perhaps this was an industrial dispute. Nevertheless, we've paid less at better hotels and had our rooms cleaned.
