“Exceeded Expectations”

Only days before my holiday I was advised that Hadleys no longer managed the apartments at Battery Point where I was booked in. I was offered a room at the hotel in Murray Street but after reading reviews I was feeling disappointed, however I decided that it was the best I could do at late notice. I was pleasantly surprised, greeted by friendly staff, beautiful furnishings and decor from entry through to dining room, etc. My room was spotless, nice soft bath towels, comfortable bed and french doors opening over dining room (2nd floor). I had no street noise being on the inside of the building. Location is perfect for walking and also taking tours. The only negatives for me were poor tv reception and no air conditioning in my room however there was a fan. Breakfast in restaurant was excellent.

“Central location, and friendly staff”

It was very central and staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean, lots of period style features and furniture which suits. Room facing Murray St is exposed to lots of traffic noise. And bell ringing from nearby church (for over two hours)
