This hostel is about 20 minutes from the botanical gardens and most the highlights of Adelaide. It's a little rickety and as usual with hostel type accommodation the walls are very thin, so don't expect a good night's sleep.

Adelaide is a great city with a small town feel.

The room is small especially the bathroom, but it's ok, it's clean. For backpackers or with limited budget, it could be a good place to stay for several days. They got this kithen down there and a big fridge.
At the edge of the city area but right outside the inn there's a bus station and a convenience store right beside it. During my time there's actually quite some ppl staying there and the kichen's always busy...
It's not fancy, but as a backpacker place and this price, not bad.

the first night i checked in, altho after 8pm, ( reception already closed) the receptionist was drunk, the night i was return from a tour a guest rang to tell me my luggage was in their room, when in fact they had been checked into my room, i think there should be a more organised night time manager. the place is cluttered, it seems the staff favour the long term stayers rather than the short term guests. no communication.

Not sure where the other review stayed but this place was great. The location wasperfect, next to cafes, supermarket, a quiet part of the city and i had the free breakfest and cofee. I found the place friendly clean and i enjoyed a bar bee que fun. i recomend this hostel. They found people jobs to.
