We traveled to Adelaide in Dec 2010 and stayed at the La Loft Unley apartments (we had 2 two bedroom apartments) for 5 nights. The booking process was smooth and the La Loft Assistant manager (Kevin de Zilva) was very helpful. We contacted the office when we arrived at Adelaide airport and a lady met us at the apartment to give us the keys. We had some trouble finding the place as we weren't given the street number (only street name). The lady took us to the apartment but didn't really explain so I have to ask all the questions e.g how to we check out, does the front door of the block get locked. I asked her if the supermarket is open (27 Dec) and she said no but she couldn't tell me whether they will be open the next day.
The apartment was spacious. One bedroom had a queen size bed and the other room has 2 single beds. Bedding was comfortable. Both bathrooms were spacious. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed and this apartment is much more generous than other apartments we have stayed at before where they provide sufficient dishwashing liquid, laundry powder. The apartment had a good size balcony.
The downside is the apartment is facing other apartments in close distance and one of the "neighbours" had 3 dogs and 1 cat which means there can be a lot of noises at times. We also had an extremely noisy group above us on New Years Eve where they were talking on a handfree phone with their relatives from midnight to 1am.
The apartments were generally clean but certain parts needs update/ repair e.g one bathroom fan was not working, bath towels are quite old and need replacement, curtains have holes in them, rangehood light was not working etc. These are minor problems but one issue was bothering us during the stay was in apartment 3, we believe there are fleas in the carpet. Both my husband and I had red spots on our ankles. I think the carpet is probably due for some major cleaning.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and considering the price we paid for the two apartments during Xmas/ NY time, I believe it's very good value. I will recommend this to family with young children.
We had a bonus on NYE night where we could see some fireworks from our apartment 3 balcony. The apartment also comes with free internet connection.
