Our waiter was very good, knowledgable on the menu (both food and wine), able to discuss any item without hesitation. Don't get me wrong, the food was tasty, but even for a degustation, there was laughably little. This may be a personal matter, but i was super disappointed to see only two pieces of tortellini - yes only two, in the middle of my big white plate and they weren't any super sized or even larger than normal tortellinis. Similarly another course consisted of a shotglass sized portion of a swordfish something-or-other with watermelon salsa which would suffice a child (with well-developed taste) of about 2. By the time the lamb came i was starving and i'm afraid three little slices perched in the middle still left us wanting. Don't get me wrong, all this food was delicious, but isn't food also supposed to fill you up? Not to bloat, but to satisfy at least. Now you're probably thinking i'm a glutton...and maybe a fattie - not true, my husband and i are slight people, I'm 5 ft 2 and 52 kg. I don't watch masterchef, gordon ramsay or any other cooking show and i dont subscribe to the notion that to eat good food you have to be served teeny tiny morsels. I should have listened to my husband that night and went to Gauchos for a steak.
