“Nice big rooms”

Arrived late fair walk on a Thursday night for sometime to eat, nothing at hotel. No even a biscuit in the room.
Breakfast canned fruit, cornflakes, muesli and toast. For the money paid some fresh fruit, cheeses, yoghurt, meats etc that every other continental breakfast provides would have been nice.
Staff pleasant and helpful.

“Great value, very friendly & warm service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

I've been staying here regularly for a year while traveling for work, and this place is like a 2nd home. Rooms are very comfy for the price and the staff who run this seem to genuinely care about providing guests with a good stay. The kitchen facilities are excellent and free breakfast, hardly get that anywhere these days! Thanks to the hotel for looking after me for so long!

“Excellent value in Adelaide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Very nice, spacious room at a very reasonable price ($110 a night) which stayed very quiet even though we were there over the weekend. The guest kitchen and laundry is a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast was simple but quite sufficient for our needs- the only thing missing was non-instant coffee. Parking out the front from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning was free and easy. Location was good, close to Chinatown restaurants but still quiet. I would highly recommend this place for both short and longer stays in Adelaide.

“Why aren't more hotels like this?”

Large enough to have good facilities but small enough to care. The rooms are a decent size and well furnished with a full sized desk, office chair and easy chair as well as the usual furniture. Cosy lounge area with books, TV and free internet access. Each floor has a very good dining kitchen and a basic breakfast is provided on a self-serve basis. This all helps to keep the costs down and is an ideal arrangement for those who like comfort on a budget. All in all, this was a great place to stay by myself and if I was going back to Adelaide I wouldn't think of booking anywhere else.

“Well appointed with friendly and helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights before going to Kangaroo Island and then for 1 night on our return. The location of the hotel is good, with Victoria Square and Rundle Mall both within an easy walk. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with good showers. Each floor had a kitchen for guests to use and there was also a guest laundry.
The staff on reception were friendly and helped with recommendations as to where to go and where to eat. They happily stored our luggage whilst we were on Kangaroo Island. All in all if returning to Adelaide we would not stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter
