Just returned from a fantastic trip to hamilton island where we stayed at the beach club for 3 nights. from the moment you are picked up at the airport right up until the moment you board your plane home you are looked after. Once you arrive at the hotel you are greeted with food and drinks whilst you check in. Free use of snorkelling and other water gear. Breakfast was amazing can highly recommend the gourmet omelettes!!!!! Staff are able to drop you off and pick you up on the island anytime of day and night. even though most places are quite walkable its really fun jumping on the back of a golf buggy! The prices of food and drinks are reasonable. the infinity pool is amazing and there is no restrictions on drinks or times of use etc which is nice. We got engaged on our last night there and were greeted to a big bowl of chocolate dipped strawberries in our room. Beach club guests also have their own lounge at the airport which is very spacious and comfortable and makes waiting and saying good bye to the beautiful island a lot easier. Great stay can't wait to go back. Would definitely recommend beach club and hamilton island over others as there is a lot to do around as well.

Room tip: ground floor facing the beach-literally walk out your door to the pool and beach= AWESOME

As we walked out the airport 2 Beach Club employees met us with smiles on their faces, one to take care of all our luggage, and one to take us around town and to the Hotel--great start! At most hotels you check in at a front desk, but these very nice people take you to the pool and beach front, sit you down in a comfy chair with a fruit drink and a snack and handle everything there while your luggage makes it's way to your room.

The ROOM was fantastic, quiet, large space, nice patio, comfortable bed (also quiet).

The SERVICE was perfection. We had forgotten a jacket at the last hotel we were at and they were kind enough to help take care of that for us. There is also complimentary golf cart-chauffeured service on call to get around town.

The RESTAURANT which we dined at for breakfast daily, once for lunch, and once for dinner was great. Breakfast is included in the room price and it includes a buffet with a selection of fruit, cereal, nuts, and breads. You also pick an entree like an egg dish, I always picked the eggs benedict which was delicious.

The OCEAN was incredible. We were there just a couple weeks ago and the water was a very comfortable temperature. During low tide you can walk out nearly straight out as far as you can go--but it doesn't smell like low tide ;) You can use the kayaks, other ocean fun stuff for free.

The POOL is kept at a comfortable temperature and is clean. It's nice having no kids around.

My husband and I wish we would move there, but we'll settle for trips as often as we can escape. Needless to stay, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEACH CLUB!

Other Hamilton Island recommendations:
I recommend the YACHT CLUB for dinner. It's a beautiful building with great service and food. I would not recommend Manta Ray Cafe. For visitors from the US, just be prepared, food is much more expensive in Australia (and New Zealand) in general. You can pay over $20 for a regular dish of pasta and $25 for a regular mediocre pizza. Drinks are comparable. We snorkeled the barrier reef with Fantasea. I recommend the one day trip out there. I don't think overnight is necessary.

Room tip: We were in the bottom corner room which was great because you had a mostly private patio with a direct path to the beach.

My partner and I stayed at the Beach Club for 3 nights just after Easter. This was our first time to Hamilton Island and from the moment we jumped into our VIP buggy from the airport I was impressed. A short tour and we arrived at our accommodation. We were greeted with some refreshing mocktails and were seated in the common lounge area while our check-in was being finalised. We had a ground floor suite which practically stepped straight onto the beach - a must have when staying here. The room was very clean and well laid out but nothing spectacular. Apart from the ants crawling around the mini bar and the shelves that housed the glasses the room was as expected. We dined at the restaurant a couple of nights and the food was fabulous, not to mention the pre-dinner cocktails at the bar. We had breakfasts included in our package which allowed us to attend a buffet breakfast at any of the properties associated with the Beach Club. We hired a buggy for the length of our trip which allowed us to come and go as we pleased. The staff however were more than happy to come pick us up and drop us off from where ever and whenever we liked. The weather was pretty much the only disappointment (can never be helped) - overcast and some rain on all days except the day we left. Unfortunately, that meant we couldn't do most of the activities we had planned. One night we were actually lucky and the weather cleared for long enough to go on a sunset dinner cruise. The evening and food was amazing. The best part about this place was the fact it was an adults only properly which made for a really relaxing getaway. Beach Club is a must stay if you want relaxation without the crowd.

Room tip: Definitely stay in a ground floor suite for instant access to the beach.

Our experience at Beach Club surpassed our expectations. The location was stunning, the staff were warm in their manner and Superb in their service delivery. Nothing was too much trouble. The food, whilst not cheap was fresh and tasty. Our trip to the reef by helicopter was an eye-dazzling display of colour. But my fabourite was our degustation on the beach, watching the sunset over the water. We would recommend this destination without hesitation. Thanks Beach Club

We absolutely loved this hotel!! The whole experience from landing at Hamilton Island and being taken via VIP buggy straight to the hotel whilst they collect your bags, to the great room, beach front location and fantastic pool, you just can't beat it!

The staff are very friendly, very helpful and will bend over backwards to help you with anything you need.

the food is great too - make sure you make it down to breakfast and try the special of the day!!

Also worth a trip is the day trip on The Edge, catamaran it is a great day, snorkelling and a visit to Whitehaven beach which you have to go to!! It's amazing!!
