Staff were friendly and helped us with transport options to the theme parks. Apartment was large and very upmarket. We chose one with a view of the pool so we could sit on the balcony and watch the kids. Also used the great BBQ area by the pool. Would recommend to anyone.

Although there were no cockroaches in the apartment and it was clean. When booking (initially wanting to stay at Mantra Sun CIty where there was no vacancy) we were mislead on the phone to believe this place was of the same quality, which it definately was not. The bed was uncomfortable and the fold out sofa couch which we were told would be fine to serve as a 2nd bed when there was no 2 bedrooms available was lumpy beyond belief...i have felt more comfort sleeping on the ground camping, after 30mins i managed to make it bearable only by dismanteling the couch pillows to cover up the springs pocking into my back. The wireless was extroadinarily difficult to connect, there was no coffee plunger and all that was left by the fold out couch when we arrived (remembering we were told this was 4 stars) was a set of sheets....no pillows or blanket, nor an effort to make it a bed. It was clean, but not in the least bit comfortable. This all would have been satisfactory if the price was not so high and the description honest....IT WAS NOT 4 STARS...As we only had 3 nights in the Gold Coast we moved to the Marriot which was beautiful and was deserving of a 4 star rating. Due to the 3 night minimum we were refunded non of the other two nights and the lady who had mislead us into believing it was of 4 star quality (probably just to fill the extra room) was extremely uncompromising... they never even tried to resolve the issue in a fair manner (eg. even a 50% refund for the 2 nights we were not even there as we did tell them straight away in the early morning we would not continue to stay there).

In conclusion...bad service through the phone, no service at the "hotel", uncomfortable beds, extremely misleading description, not 4 stars ("apparently it was the AA rating"), difficult...annoying inconveniences unneccessary on a holiday and worst of all an uncompromising and unfair resolution to the dissatisfaction and mislead customers....if your are going to spend this much on a hotel go to a real hotel...there are much nicer on the gold coast!

We stayed at Trilogy for a week and it was fantastic.
We upgraded to a two bedroom suite on the 13th floor with a fantastic view of the beach and out over the pool.
From the deck we could also see a bit of the canal.

Rooms are large, very well appointed and very clean.
It is more like living in a nice apartment than a hotel.

The pool is a good size and the grounds are immaculately kept.
There is internet available as well as a small gym and games room.

The staff are extremely friendly and make staying there very easy.

We were on the fringe of school holidays, and there were quite a few young people there, but the staff make sure that things stay fun for everyone without loud parties interupting your stay.

Very short walk to the beach and the town center, but you do not feel like you are in the middle of as busy area.

This is not budget accomadation, but worth the money.

Stayed at Trilogy during Xmas holidays with extended family - 11 adults. Were given 3 separate rooms on different floors - the only issue was with travelling between units as your room keys can only access your specific floor. Mgmnt did provide us with further keys so that we could access the other floors, which was handy.

The rooms were all new-looking, clean and comfortable with all the mod cons. The units are large and well kept. There was an issue with the lock on one of the doors, as well as two bedroom lights not working, but there were addressed by mgmnt as well.

The location is great, about 5 min walk from Cavill, in a fairly quiet street close to a bus stop. The underground carpark was handy, although the car spaces are a little small (only 1 space per unit).

Would certainly stay here again, highly recommended.
