From the minute we walked into this beautiful hotel we were greeted by two of the most lovely hosts Margaret & Peter. We were treated to a three bedroom apartment on the 10th floor overlooking the river and city view. "What a beautiful sight to begin and end your day with". We loved our accommodation from the onset of walking into our apartment. Three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, airconditioning, fans and a spectacular kitchen/dining/lounge area. We were more than comfortable and happy with all the amenities this had to offer. It is located in the heart of Surfers close to the beach, shopping precinct, and bus stops. Thank you Margaret & Peter for your friendly, helpful and welcoming stay.

This is the perfect place to stay, you find yourself right in the middle of Surfers close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Easy access to communications if you want to get around the Gold coast. When entering Moorings on Cavill you will find yourselves moving in to a place which makes you fell at home. Margaret, Peter, Erin and Jackson makes sure you have everything you need for a perfect holliday always ready to give you a hand with a great smile. The apartment was wonderful, including everything you need, beautifully furnished, clean, spacious and with a breathtaking view. We will miss our breakfasts on the balcony looking out over all the channels running through the area. Our family relaxed in the fantastic poolarea where you have the sun most of the day.

Look no further than this hotel. I chose moorings based on trip advisor reviews and i was not disappointed. It's got everything that you need from a hotel. The owners are some of the most friendly people I've ever met and are always willing to help you out. The rooms are spacious and clean, have foxtel, and have both fans and air conditioners that make you forget about the heat completely. We stayed in a two bedroom on the top floor and the room was just incredible, with a great view. The hotel is in the perfect location, with everything from supermarkets and restaurants, to clubs and shops all within walking distance. The beach is also just a few minutes walk away, otherwise the hotel does have a pool in which case you can just walk downstairs. The bus stop to the theme parks is also directly outside the hotel.

Why pay more for any other hotel when the moorings is luxury accomodation at an affordable price? Stay here and you won't be disappointed. We will definately be staying here again.

I have one word to describe the Moorings on Cavill Ave and that is PERFECT. The owners Margaret and Peter made us feel like family, and always had a smile on their face. Us three girls were overwhelmed by how helpful and welcoming they were. When we saw our apartment we were speechless! Renovated 2 bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen and aircon that actually cooled down the apartment effortlessly! The views were beautiful, with a large balcony to enjoy the view. The pool is a resort in itself... we would spend the whole day there couldn't get enough of it. Everything was so clean and neat. Most of all Margaret and Peter thank you for all you did for us will never forget our stay at the Moorings. Will never stay at another place when on the Gold Coast. Oh, I forgot to mention the location.. RIGHT ON CAVILL AVE... Perrrrfecccttt!!
