Like many Aussie hotels, this one catered for the full range of customers, from backpackers to hotel style rooms. all are basic accommodation. the photo by the pool with the lights... make it looks like a tropical haven. its not. its not terrible (the breakfast actually is) but its not uber clean and funky like it looks there. ok for the cheap price you pay, but don't expect a tropical pool under starlight!

Limited facilities in the resort. Though everything is close by the super market the wine shop and even a shawarma (Arabic) joint called Ali Baba Kebabs, the portions are huge..an Indian restaurant called Tandoori Nights run by a Punjabi family from India.

We stayed at the hotel for 12 days We had a big room with cooking facilities. We had communal toilets and showers The bar only opened 2 days a week for 2 hours. We found all drinks expensive except wine. you could get 3 litres for less than £10. The only problem is that you can,t buy it until after 16:00 hrs. It stops the aborigines being drunk during the day. The Hotel had a pool and jaquizi but not heated
A good place to go is the night market

I stayed here 2 times and the rooms were very good value for money. Not up market, neither is the price, but the rooms were clean, tidy, well decorated and comfortable beds. The staff are very nice and easy to deal with. There is a bus in the next street to and from CBD, or a taxi isnt very much. Health food store 2 doors down, service station nearby with snack food and a tavern for yummy food and drinks. There is a big kitchen everyone can use, so not necessary to book apartment with kitchen! I will stay here again.

Room tip: If you want an ensuite room they are not much dearer than share bathrooms.

this place allowed us to check in early and check out late...other than that it is a basic low budget backpackers hostel..has a kicthen and a pool...we were put in the back of the property and upstairs...so getting our kids and luggage to our room was hard...the gardner placed his trailer to block the only path to our rooms ... so we had to pass our kids and luggage to the gradener the get to the other side
