My first time here after being recommended. Fantastic location right in the middle of Brisbane CBD with a railway station underneath the building. I was here on business for 2 nights staying at their junior suite and my work colleague in one of their premium rooms. The rooms had a stale stench upon entering. Not sure why but the airconditioning fan was running and this may be the cause. Whilst my room was large and well equiped, it was looking very dated. The shower cubicle resembles one at a 2 star country motel and the rest of the furniture were looking tired and old. The TV's looked like the ones you'd pick up from a market stall but one unforgivable was the fact that for such a premium room, it did not have a dvd player, not even a cd player, although a cheap down market ipod stand was available.
Checkin staff was ok and the concierge was very helpful when I asked for direction. A great shame for a property of such location to be delivering average standards. I think the management are doing a great job but the property definitely needs a major refurbishment of the rooms.
