Stayed 1st & last nights of our NT trip in January 2011. Stayed both nights in a bungalow & was very impressed both times. Large clean well equipped room & nice & quiet. Location was excellent. 5 minute walk to the shops & restaraunts & just across the road to the waterfront reserve. Highly Recommended

We used to stay here all the time we are from the NT and it is a convenient hotel. There are so many better options now in Darwin. Really bad customer service on reception which we have encountered on several trips and tolerated but wont be coming back anymore.

right next to new Govt building (worth a visit) and short walk to town centre/supermarket (which is hidden within a mall)

We had booked in as a convenient location for a one night stay before catching the 'Ghan' train down to Alice Springs. The Reception staff were helpful in arranging an early breakfast and the necessary taxi for the onward journey.

The Palms Resort is well situated by the Esplanade and Park, making for pleasant evening and early morning walking. Evening meals aren't provided but there are plenty of restaurants to suit all pockets within an easy walk.

The apartment rooms are on the small side and somewhat stuffy, but one can't fault the value for money in the context of NT prices. The breakfast buffet more than met our requirements to get the day off to a good start.
