The hotel has very small motel like rooms. They are basic and rather clean. The CBD - central business district- is not very near but still at walking distance. If I went to Darwin again I would look for a different hotel.

We stayed here as our base exploring Darwin. Kitchenette facilities were handy and beds were comfortable so it is all you need if you are not one to hang around hotel grounds. You do need a hire car from here as it makes it much easier to get around and see all that Darwin has to offer. Front Desk staff were very helpful. Bit annoying that the pool area closed at 7pm as this is a hotel facility I do like to use after a long day touring, just to sit in a pool setting & have a beer etc. Don't get that luxury here unfortunately. Would probably look for other options on my next visit, but for budget hotel that is clean and somewhere to lay your head it was okay.

Overpriced, small, noisey, no mini bar, no lift (two storeys), no concierge, no balcony, no room service, actually no service at all, minimal TV chanels, thin walls (you can hear the conversations in the other rooms word for word and they weren't yelling, just talking)!!!

The only positive I can find is that it is clean, to charge the price they do for a room they should offer alot more. I asked for another glass and I was told no - I don't complain, but I will never stay here again.

I've been a few times now to Darwin to visit my son and find Darwin accommodation expensive so I looked around and found Comfort Inn Vitina on trip advisor. The place is good value compared to a lot of other places in Darwin, it has recently been renovated and is clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and accommodating (we needed an extra pillow and they delivered one within 5 minutes). We were booked in for 2 nights but arrived a day early, they swapped bookings around so we stayed in the same room the whole time and gave us a discount for the extra night. The Comfort Inn Vitina is a bit out of town but if you have a car or like walking (a bit of a walk though) it won't be a problem. It is quiet there as it's across from the golf course and near the Botanical Gardens, it's not far from Mindil Beach either. There may be other places in Darwin that are good value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.
