Kathy and Karl are very hospitable. Give good advice on local places to visit.
Kathy makes very nice breakfast with eggs from their own chickens.
Definitely would recommend this place to friends.

We are a family from Namibia and spent two nights in Alice Springs during May 2011. We arrived in Alice Spring after sleeping in a camper for more than a week - so were due for a clean up and a good feed. Kathy and Karl were marvelous hosts - very helpful with travel tips (clearly have lots of local knowlege of what to do in the area). One evening Kathy took us to see the Agile Wallabies come down to feed in a local park - lovely experience that thrilled our daughter. We would highly recommend Kathy's Place for families.

Sleeping in a "junk room" is not my idea of a good B&B. We were put in the games room which consisted of several uncomfortable beds, a pool table, a dusty unused bar and heaps of dusty knick knacks that were stored in the room. We picked Kathy's Place because it was dog friendly but was made to feel uncomfortable even thou we ensured our dogs mess was cleaned up. This was the biggest rip off Nd have since found a self contained unit which is real dog friendly!

You feel welcome from the moment your arrive. It would be hard to imagine anyone more hospitable and welcoming than Kathy. The house and my room were meticulously clean and tidy.

This is a B and B, the accommodation is accurately described on their website, so I won 't go into too many details here. The location is in a quiet suburban street, in a pleasant neighbourhood, about 5 minute from the bustle Alice Springs CBD.

Credit Cards are accepted, this is remarkable given the number of rooms. The booking process was straight forward and Kathy promptly replied to all my emails.

Then best part of my stay however were the cooked breakfasts, simply superb and included in the room rate. Despite an early morning departure on my last day Kathy insisted on waking early and providing breakfast.
