Have stayed here numerous times for work over the past 2 yearsand I keep coming back. It's really central to the CBD and the rooms are huge for what you pay. It's always exceptionally clean and all the facilities are well kept.

Stayed here in February with my Mother and Sister. Location is great and we walked down to Darling Harbour every morning for breakfast. Was on the 5th floor and was very noisy on a Saturday night with lots of partying going on in the street.
We had a two bedroom apartment but it disappointingly only had 1 bathroom. I must have been mistaken when I thought I booked an apartment with two bathrooms. The bedrooms were very small, but we weren't there most of the time so it didn't make too much difference.
The apartment was well equipped with kitchen facilities (not that we used them) and a laundry should you wish to do washing whilst away.
The housekeeping was very good and the place felt clean.
The apartments are getting a bit tired and shabby though. The windows could do with a really good wash! Could hardly see out the window for all the built up grime on the outside of the building.
Thought it was very overpriced for how tired the room was looking. Will next time book 2 separate rooms at a hotel considering it will be around the same price.
Reception staff were friendly enough and held onto our bags both when we arrived (our room was ready) and when we checked out (late flight).
Probably wouldn't stay here again

I stayed at the Mantra 2 Bond Street in September 2011 with my Mum. The check-in was smooth and our luggage was held until we were able to check-in to our room. The room was fantastic, it was very big with kitchen facilities including a refrigerator. There was also lounge chairs and two televisions in the room. The bathroom was a decent size. The pool on the roof-top is a decent size if there are not too many people there. We went swimming on a Sunday morning so we were the only ones there!The hotel organised our transportation for our early morning flight.
The best aspect is the location to Circular Quay and all the other tourist attractions.

I stayed at the Mantra for a week in January while my daughter was working in Sydney and was suitably impressed. The studio appartment on the 10th floor was spacious,clean and well equipped with a very comfy bed and the added bonus of a balcony overlooking George Street-so when the small rooftop pool area was full(only 4 loungers) I could catch the late afternoon sun there.One reason I chose the Mantra was for the rooftop pool..a welcome retreat and oasis from the city.It was in an excellent location being close to both the CBD(for the great shops and sales!)and only 10mins walk to Circular Quay and the Rocks.The cafe sold adequate coffees and breakfasts but I found it cheaper and more choice to walk across the road to the food courts in the shopping mall.Internet use was very expensive-far better to find a cheap internet cafe close by. Reception staff were fine. Only slight criticism was the late cleaning of the room..often mid-afternoon but overall I was very happy with the Mantra and would recommend to friends and stay again.
