We stayed for 4 nights in a spacious room with two queen beds, with a small balcony, which was perfect for 2 adults and one 5 year child. The meals at the restaurant were great value for money and they catered for our child particularly well with a $12 menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool on numerous occassions. I think the photos on the website are accurrate and overall the hotel delivered on all counts. We'd return and I've already recommended it to someone in my office.
Just stayed here and the front desk ladies fantastic, fabulous 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour with all its cafe's... Downside is our room on a corner and both outlooks were very manky buildings with tennis courts covered in litter and broken bottles etc. Very claustrophobic as couldn't pull wooden blinds up. Still worthwhile due to location and Sydney too fabulous a place to be sitting in room. Surfed at Manly and Bondi and went to Aquarium and Wildlife Park in Darling Harbour with kids, all much better than expected. Will review these as well.
I stayed in a twin room which was very spacious and consisted of two double beds. The room was very spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
The bathroom was also quite large, and even had a separate mirror, bench and chair to do your make up at, rather than just a hand sink. It was a lovely touch!
Found the staff to be very friendly. We did not use the pool or eat at the restaurant or order room service so I can not comment on those aspects of the hotel.
The hotel is a little pricey, however if you can manage to get a deal then go for it!
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We had hired an apartment suite - for 6 people. There was one on suite and one other bathroom. For the size of the suite the bathroom was not big enough - with the main bathroom not havign a bathtub.
There was a full kitchen and also a seperate sofa seating area and a table area also. However the whole style of the suite was slightly dated and less glamorous than the lobby / rest of the hotel. I expected the rooms to be slightly more up to date. The carpet was worn and wasnt too appealing. There were not enough bathrobes provided and the staff were not too helpful.
I only stayed for one night and cant say I would book in again as i'm sure i can get better value for the money spent elsewhere.
It was however - clean and spacious. It is centrally located and a short distance from nearby bars/ sights. (we were there for a hen do so it served its purpose of accomodating us)
