We also enjoyed the degustation meal. We thought it was excellent on each course, interesting and well explained. Its price was fine for the quality and ambience.
We noticed that another review queried the wine service. I think for a quality restaurant they could sharpen that a bit. The waitress couldnt help us but the "sommelier" she sent over could not help us on any of four foreign grapes I asked about. (I wasn't trying to be a pain, just was interested to try something different). He went off to get the sommelier but he was apparently in Becasse so noone could assist me. It later took a long time to get our ordered red (when the rest at the table were still drinking white) and they took all the glasses away and then came back five minutes later with half a glass left in the bottle.
This is not a complaint as we very much enjoyed the night. I still rate it as an excellent experience. But since others mention it, it seems a small glitch that should be easy to fix up.
