I stayed for one night with my wife and we found our room to be extremely dark and rather unpleasant. None of the electric items worked, such as kettle, fridge etc and when I complained, was made to feel by the lady on reception as if it was my fault! There was no apology, just a lame excuse about work being carried out prior to our visit meaning the electicity had not been switched back on! It was a fair walk in to the town centre/harbour area (40 mins) although 5 mins from the beach. We will certainly not recommend this place to anyone - give it a miss!

We spent a night at the Coachmans Inn on our way back to Queensland and had a pleaseanr stay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and most of all affordable. Another good point is that a large shopping complex is right down the road (on the same street) where we always enjoy breakfast at the Coffee Club before starting out trip. We have stayed at a number of motels in Coffs Harbour as it is a halfway stop on our trip and this has been the best to date.

We stayed for one night on our way to Ballina and were very pleased with our choice of motels. Your could tell from the moment you opened the door that this was a really clean motel.The room was small but very well appointed and adequately met our needs. We chose the special meal deal which included dinner at Macauleys restaurant next door and a hot breakfast the following morning. Both of these meals were great and couldn't be faulted. The owners and staff were efficient and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again should we go back to Coffs Harbour for a stay or on our way north.

My expectations weren't that high as it was at the cheaper end. It turned out to be comfortable even thou the interior was 80s style.. The bed & pillows were very good compared to alot of motels. It was full the night I was there so parking was streached but free!!
