We thought these new serviced apartments would be a nice alternative to just another hotel room for a 2 night stay.
Boy were we mistaken.
We arrived and just dropped off our luggage before meeting relatives. On our return later that night we realized the unit was very dirty. The kitchen floor had obvious spills all over it and the bathroom floors were also very dirty.
On closer inspection, we found the microwave had bacon fat all over the turntable and interior surfaces, the fridge had bread crumb residue in the bottom and milk which had been spilt so long ago that it had dried up completely. How disgusting.
As the manager was not around that night, we reported it the next morning. His excuse was the rough tiles which had to be fixed!!!
We insisted he come and look at what we were complaining about and on inspection he agreed we had a valid complaint.
His solution was to send in the cleaners that day while we were out which was fine by us.
However, on our return to the unit that night, again after the manager had left for the day, we realized the cleaners had not been near the place!!! Pretty unimpressed by this stage.
We also could not believe how bad the beds were. They are king singles which only have normal single bedlinen and blankets so end up unmade 5 minutes after getting into bed. Also, they must have bought the cheapest mattresses on the market because the springs were almost coming through the covers. It was more comfortable to sleep on the lounge!!!
It seemed to us that we were just an inconvenience to the manager. He couldn't have cared less if he tried.
I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.
