We had high hopes when we checked into this newer, modern hotel. The room is huge- lots of space to wander about without bumping into your traveling companions. The bathroom was small compared to the huge room. The beds were comfy, and the windows opened for temperature control. But it was impossible to sleep within these paper-thin walls. The street noise was unbearable late into the night, and our neighbors in the room upstairs made too much noise plodding about till after 1 a.m. We were so exhausted the next day, and so disappointed that this hotel could not give us a good nights sleep. There is nothing to do in this little town, and very few dining options. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Hotel Walacker in nearby Solvorn, and were able to enjoy one of the best gourmet meals we had in Norway! Well worth the 20 min. drive. Just wished we had also stayed there overnight.
