It was round the anniversary of Normandy landings so this was all we could book. Had read some reviews of it by people who were clearly expecting grand hotel for budget price! It's cheap and clean. It's out of town but well signed from peripherique. It's a beggar to find from anywhere else, mind! It's by a huge shopping complex you can walk to (that has a Flunch if you arrive early enough and are looking for a cheap, basic meal and also a Chinese restaurant) and is only 10 mins from the trams that take you to central Caen! Very good nearby facilities considering that it is out of town and if you are prepared to be a bit of an explorer.
