Free wifi access in your room makes a very big plus point compared to the extortionate rates charged by most other French hotels. This one is a useful place for a one night stop over if you are travelling by ferry at Caen Ousitreham. Like all Campaniles, the room is fairly small but it was fine for two of us: clean, very comfortable beds, seriously powerful shower! Good selection on the reasonably priced menu at the hotel restaurant meant that we didn't have to venture more than a few yards on a wet December night when we were tired. Thoroughly recommended for a short stay.

This hotel was picked as an alternative to setting a tent up in the pouring rain! My friend and I had stayed at Campanile hotels before, but this one was rather disappointing...to begin with, it had obviously been acquired by the Campanile chain quite recently, because the welcome message in our room was from a differently named hotel entirely! Neither the heater nor the air conditioner worked, and the toilet seat was broken...in addition, our room was located around the back of the hotel which was not well-lit, something that was rather disconcerting to two women travelling alone - and to be brutally honest, some of the other customers I noticed gave the hotel an appearance of specialising in "one night stays", if you get my drift! Just about the only good thing I can say is that it is very close to a big shopping centre where we ended up making most of our "gift" purchases.

The room is a bit small, the bed is comfortable, and everything is clean. Breakfast is good but the cost is not included in the room rate. Located near superstore/mall.

Suggestion, enter this motel in your Tom Tom before you leave home. It will be difficult to find otherwise.

Stayed early June 2007, basic, clean, not expensive, just out of town. Big shopping centre nearby, good access to all roads. Food was good enough. If you want five star, this isn't for you, if you want somewhere to rest your weary head and be on your way tomorrow, this is great.
