The Davy Crockett lodges are basically static caravans. They do their job just fine, as a great base to stay when you are visiting the nearby Disney Parks. Simply furnished we had a comfy double bed in one room and a bunk bed in the other, much smaller room. After a day at Park the children just fell into bed so a big room for them wasn't needed. The bathroom and separate loo are clean with towels provided. Plenty of good hot water and a shower over the bath that works a treat, made getting ready in the morning easy. The open kitchen dining lounge area is perfectly ok if all a little tired looking. The sofa is also a pull out bed and ours had the noisiest springs, but to be honest we didn't spend any real time sitting around. I can't imagine it would be that great to sleep on, but we didn't try it so we just don't know. Take your own washing-up liquid/ cloths / dishwasher tabs/everything as the only thing provided is cutlery crockery and a kettle. There is a shop on site, but depending on which trail you are on it can be a good fifteen minute stroll away and is very expensive. There was a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and two electric rings in our cabin, not sure if all cabins are the same though.
Breakfast from the little hut was simply croissants, brioche, french bread, jams and chocolate spread - tea coffee hot chocolate sachets and juice, plus milk and sugar. I am sure that we were not alone in bagging up our leftovers to take into the parks.
Like other reviews I will mention that the TV choice is limited, but we weren't bothered as we left early and got back late so it wasn't important to us.
If you need a room that you want to spend time, in Davy Crockett may be a little too basic for you. But if you do just want a place to drop your cases and come back to each night to sleep in, well you should find Davy Crockett fits the bill.
