“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

The hotel was lovely, building great, good size room, for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. Pool was and spa were nice.

Not too keen on the breakfast, but that was more personal preference than the quality and range of the food.

Shuttle bus was a nightmare, all booked up in the morning, full of staff (cleaners) in the afternoon, worst in an evening. First night we were the first waiting in Q, for about 25 mins, when the bus turned up loads of people appeared from nowhere and pushed us out of the way and we struggled to find room to sit on the bus. Hotel need to do something about the booking/queuing syatem. We ended up driving to disney after that as only 5 mins away

Hotel car park was dead, but hotel was busy. Soon realised there were loads of coach parties, staying, which was a bit of a pain, if you walked in just after them and queued for lifts, etc

Overall it was a nice hotel and I would recommend anyone to stay their as rates are reasonable.

“Aged hotel with terrible service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

We spent 6 nights at the Radisson Blu, so we became very familiar with the place.
My biggest complaint was the poor service. The hotel seemed under staffed. The other disappointing factor about this Hotel was that it looked nice in the photos (on their website and even on this website), but it has aged, the gardens were overgrown and the hotel is rather isolated- you have to drive if you want to go anywhere. They have a children's play room which was filthy and the toys were grotty. It didn't appear to be cleaned once during our stay. On a positive note, our room was comfortable, the dinner buffet was good and the shuttle service to disneyland worked well. I would not recommend staying here. Personally, I wish we had stayed in Paris and just caught the train out to disneyland for the day.

“Honeymoon Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We stayed here in August 2011 for 3 nights for our Honeymoon and took our two young children with us.
The hotel it self was clean, modern with helpfull staff.
The room was a good size, cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels, and had all the mod cons you would expect.
The only thing that seriously lets this hotel down was the cooked breakfast that was very poor! The mushrooms smelt and tasted disgusting, the eggs were raw, beans runny and sauages disgusting! There was however plenty of choice with the other breakfast options so we didnt go hungary but would have prefered to have a proper breakfast to set us up for the long days ahead in the disney parks!
As the hotel is some distance from the disney parks and certainly to far to walk if oyu have younge children with you we had to rely on the shuttle buses supplied by the hotel. These we found we had to book the day before if you wanted to get on one before the late afternoon. Also you could book to get the shuttle to the parks but there was no option of being able to book them back to the hotel again once you were at the park. Instead we were left to fight with other hotel guests in a scrum to try and get on the bus! This was no acceptable at all and we had to get a taxi back from the park one night as the buses were all to full! The hotel did however refund us for this but if they had put into place a form of booking a return in the first place this would not have been a issue!
The hotels pool was good, clean and the children loved it. It was however a little cold and in order to get to the changing rooms you had to walk down a coridoor and got cold! The changing rooms were clean but again cold and when we asked for towels at the spa reception we were told we would have to go up to our room to get one, not acceptable again when you have two cold and wet small children and the brochure in the room said they were available here for use in pool upon request.
All in all we had a pleasent stay.

Room Tip: Book the shuttle bus 24hours before you want to use it if you want to get to the park in the morning...

“Comfortable Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Stayed here for two nights (Jan2nd/3rd) with my daughter and grand-daughter on a Bed and Breakfast break whilst visiting Euro Disneyland and in my opinion the hotel offered good value for money. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and they phoned our room 5 mins after arriving to check everything was satisfactory. The family room we were allocated was quiet as it overlooked the golf course. A very good reason for choosing a hotel a 10 minute drive away from the disneyland park complex. The size of the family room was adequate although the space once the settee bed was made up, made the room feel small. However the beds were comfortable with plenty of hot water both morning and evening, in the well proportioned bathroom. Although very tired we used the swimming pool both evenings and after a day on your feet it was very welcome activity, not a huge pool but an amenity we certainly enjoyed. We were informed by the hotel staff, if we were to use the pool to use the towels from our bedroom, for environmental reasons! But at least we were informed of the hotel policy. The other great amenity is the free WiFi and all the other amenities like bedroom fridge, kettle for hot drinks and modern TV made for a great choice of hotel. Having read previous reviews we were impressed with the choice of food at breakfast that included juices, cereals, croissants, bread, toast, rolls, marmalade and jams, danish pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, cheese and eggs plus a kids section and a variety of hot options plus plenty of tea or coffee and I certainly saw items being replemished when required.
The two things in our opinion that let this hotel down was the service from the bar staff, they were both disinterested and very very slow, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our order of drinks and hot food to be taken plus the time for it eventually to arrive and at 10pm at night in a far from busy bar we thought this was unacceptable, needless to say we did not return a second night. The other area we think needs addressing is applying to have road side markings to indicate exactly where the shuttle stops in the bus/taxi rank area of disneyland as outside the train station is rather vague, as that could apply to the whole pick up area plus to have the timetable available on the web site would be useful, as 30 mins is a long time if you are not sure you are waiting in the right spot, especially on a dark, cold and wet winter`s night.
