As we arrived we were greeted by a special welcome on the hotel's news board in the lobby, I guess because our reservation was made by our tour guide, nice touch!
After a quick and corteus check in we were escorted to the room on the second floor, it had a slightly old decor but decent and clean, there was a fridge, tv and air conditioning, two big windows facing the river and the bridge, wonderfull view especially at night.
Breakfast served at the restaurant is made to order and was good.
It was really a good place for a stop over

We stayed for 6 nights at this Hotel, 4 of which we were the only residents. We had a deluxe room which was very quiet, clean and spacious. American breakfast was OK, we tried a couple of evening meals, they were alright and reasonably priced.
The town of Thaton is very small and only has a few eateries - we tried most and they were all very good. This area is only a few miles from the Myanmar border and although it is isolated from the usual tourist routes, they are used to farang visitors.
Staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming.
Only criticism - walls were very thin, so when we had neighbours - we could hear everything, fortunately we couldn't understand it.

I did not book this hotel myself so was somewhat apprehensive.
the hotel sits on the river and is stunning when you pull in. The staff was very helpful. We had a riverview room which was huge and 2 walls of windows with absolute great views of the river.I found the decor to be slightly dated in style but very clean and not worn.Thay had a nice restarunt and a lovely riverside bar. Breakfast had many choices and was included in room rate.
