We had a fantastic stay at the Tantarra Bedand Breakfast and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay with their dog. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both human and canines! After an unexpected late arrival (which Kim and Serena were very understanding and helpful about) we found our room to be warm and comfortable. Our pup loved being able to sleep inside with us as it was her first holiday away with us. Breakfast is a must as it is plentiful and filling. I do believe we didn't need lunch after gorging ourselves on the delicious choices for brekkie. Kim and Serena are very knowledgeable about the area and pet friendly places to visit. We look forward to returning again some time in the very near future. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away.

I stayed at Tantarra just before Christmas 2011 with my two kids and my blue heeler. Both Serena and Kim were friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in which was right by the pool was just beautiful. Could not have asked for a nicer, cleaner, more comfortable room. My dog especially loved the fact that she could sleep inside too.

Make sure you stay for the breakfast and that you are hungry. Delicious and huge!!!

We needed a peaceful place to stay for three days in the Newcastle area because we were visiting family members who have significant health difficulties - we found it at Tantarra B&B. Value was exceptional ... and the breakfast was lovely too. We will definitely be back! The Scotts from Queensland.

I had read other reviews on this property - very accurate. Serena was very prompt in confirming our reservation and having a chat. We felt very welcome when we arrived after a long day of driving, all we wanted to do was relax - this was the right place. Extremely comfortable and well thought out bed and breakfast. Now talking about breakfast - exceptional food and exceptional service. We felt like part of the family and loved Merlin (the cat - he, too is very friendly). Whilst it is located on a fairly busy road, once you're inside there is no road noise whatsoever. Car is safely parked on the circular driveway and gardens and pool area are very appealing. Would definitely stay here again. Do yourselves a favour - ring Serena and organise a getaway.
