“Budget stay at Chambery”

Now this hotel have another name - Hotel Curial & Residence. The location is fine - in the center of the city, 15 min walk from railway station and just steps to major attractions. The rooms are big, but rather simple. Rooms on the 6th floor have no balconys. The rooms are equiped with small kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, some furniture) - so you can easy cook some meal. The parking is just under the hotel - 10 EUR per night. Breakfast is not included in room price and costs 8 EUR per person - but we didn't try it. The internet is only via cable, and during our stay they had some problems with it, so we didn't have chanse to use it. Also be aware that reception is not 24/7 - check your arrival time carefully

The room was extremely cheap, but had seen better days. Central location. Overpriced breakfast. Internet, but not wireless.

“A good Residence Hotel - Sity Maeva”

The hotel is really excellent, not only the accomodation, but the service too. The staff is very polite. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is closed between 12-14 o'clock, on Saturdays between 12-15 o'clock and there is no staff on Sundays. Under the Hotel there is a good supermarket where you can buy whatever you want and prepare the food in your kitchen in the hotel room.
