“Loved it”

Daly's House is definitely a gem among B&Bs. There are two houses. The one we stayed in was not the house with the breakfast room. The room was very nice and the bathroom was huge. It was nice to look out the window and see the horses grazing next to the house. Breakfast was terrific. Plenty of choices for any type of diet. The salmon and scrambled eggs was delicious. Susan was an awesome host. From the moment we arrived she was so incredibly helpful. She had plenty of suggestions as to where to go and what to see. We wanted to see the Burren and she arranged a walking tour for us with Sean Connelly which we loved. She also made the arrangements for us to take the boat trip to the Aran Islands. And of course she gave us the inside tip on getting a good table at O'Connor's pub so that we'd have a seat when the musicians began playing.

“a small village with a big welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We were greeted very warmly by Susan and her husband. They invited us into their parlor, which had a fire in the fireplace. They wanted to know where we were from, and all about our trip around the country. She recommended Gus O'connor's pub at the bottom of the hill for dinner. She said that we brought the sunshine with us, because they had not seen the cliffs in 5 days. The breakfast was very good.
We would definitely come back here again

“Excellent B&B - good hosts, great location”

We stayed at Daly's for the last three days of our vacation. We picked Doolin based on its proximity to the Burren and some other sights we wanted to visit. Once we arrived, we also learned that Doolin is a nice little town to visit. They have several shops that are worth visiting, including one that all musicians will love. (And don't forgot to stop in the pub for music.) On top of all of that, the Daly's are wonderful - we were warmly welcomed into their beautiful home with tea and friendly conversation. We were shown to our beautiful room, and each morning enjoyed an amazing breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant end to our vacation.

“" We felt like old friends!"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Staying at Daly's House is like staying with old friends. It was cold, wet and windy when we arrived and Susan greeted us with Bailey's & coffee, gingersnap cookies and a warm fire. Their friendly dog, George, was even welcoming. Throughout our 3 day stay, Susan did everything she could to make this visit most memorable. The B&B is a short distance from the town, and Susan even gave us a flashlight for the walk back in the dark. Being a host of a B&B is what Susan was meant to be! Throughout the rest of our trip in Ireland, my husband & I compared other B&Bs to this one and kept saying " its just not Susan's". Thank you to our new friends and we hope to return again someday!
