We have stayed here many times on one of our fact finding missions to the west coast. We are always welcome by Mattie and Carmel and feel at home beside the always warm stove and music. We would recommend to any tourist looking for adventure on the west coast. you can even hire a bike and get expert advice from Mattie of the local area and guided walks. We have met many Adventurers on are travels such as on our last trip we met Ben and added his Blog on our site.

We were made extremely welcome at what is surely one of Ireland's best hostels. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the living room is warm and atmpospheric. Our large group thoroughly enjoyed our walk in the Burren with Mattie which was very informative even for those of us who have visited the amazing Burren many times. All in all we had an excellent weekend stay.

Six friends from work stayed here for one night as we were passing through Ireland. The place was cozy and the staff were great. With the smell of a peat moss fire in the air, the person who checked us in after a long day of travel also invited us to a slideshow before dinner. Doolin is very quaint and has good food and pubs in town. This hostel is a great, clean, cheap option if you want to stay close to the Cliffs of Moher.

This hostel was brillant, everything was clean and home like and the price was very good. The set-up in the kitchen is very good with 2 fridges and cookers so there are no queues for cooking. The scones in the morning were lovely and the owners were very helpful and obliging. There are multiple clothes lines out the back if the weather is suitable for drying which is very useful. I would definintely stay here again.
