My husband and I stumbled upon this quaint little establishment recently on our drive back to Dublin. It is a beautiful stone building with ample free parking. We were welcomed in the bar area by one of the owners who gave us a lovely table in the corner next to the open fire. They also have a separate restaurant but we chose to eat in the bar as the open fire was just so inviting on a cold November evening. I chose the Chicken Maryland from the evening bar menu which was absolutely delicious. It came with homemade fritters, a mini pancake and homemade chips. My husband had the 10oz steak which was served on a sizzling platter. That too was delicious and the portion was huge! We shared the homemade apple strudel for desert which could only be described as heaven on a plate! The premises were the cleanest we have ever set foot in and the decor was warm and inviting. We intend to return for a weekend mini break in the near future!
