it's not in town. our room was spacious, shower good, breakfast ok, and peter is an exceptional host.

The White Villa B&B is wonderful. Peter the owner is very friendly he makes you feel very comfortable. The rooms are all on the main floor so no heavy lugging of suitcases up the stairs. The showers are all very modern.

I would highly recommend the White Villa.

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed for 3 nights sharing an ensuite room with 1 queen size bed and a single bed. We had the 'purple room' with heaps of space for us and for 3 biggish suitcases. There were 2 chairs in a window alcove, everywhere was clean and tidy and the beds were extremely comfortable.
The hosts were lovely and friendly and very obliging. I was overwhelmed when Peter offered us the use of the laundry. It was very much appreciated.
The food was absolutely delicious, what more could one want at the price.

This house is located in Golden, near Rock of Cashel (4 – 5 minutes drive).
It is one of the loveliest houses I have ever seen, kind of spanish/italian style I suppose. White on the outside and with very colourful interior – like bedrooms in yellow or lilac colours (even the sheets).
We had a twin – with double bed and single bed and a cot in the room. The rooms are not really spacious. But we even had the sink and a chair in our room. Bathroom with toilet at shower seemed newly tiled in black and white and was really spacious, with a tiny chair and fluffy towels. There is shampoo provided.
The house built in bungalow style consistes of many hallways and rooms and a very impressing living room with big TV (if you do no want to watch one of the 3 channels on the tiny little thing in your room). Very comfortable chairs and shiny wooden floor, mirrors on the wall... as well as the other public rooms were impressive too... one with chairs and dozens of plush animals, a small indoor fountain and statues, as in the dining room as well. Everything was really clean and the owner – Peter – was taking care of us. He really was busy like a bee and anxious to please his guests. He prepared/ served breakfast and fulfilled his guest's wishes perfectly in the pretty ambiance of his house.
We paid 60.- Euro per couple/night.
