Our stay at the hill house was short and sweet. We were just passing through, so unfortunately we stayed just one night at this lovely Georgian mansion perched above Cashel but just a quick walk to town. There were four of us traveling together so we had two rooms, both furnished with antiques. One has the most amazingly high ceilings and a canopy over the head of the bed. The other room was enormous, with a four-poster bed and a striking view of the Rock of Cashel. There is an attractive sitting for guests and free wifi as well. Delicious breakfasts are served in a pretty dining room. The photos on the hotel web site are accurate. A previous poster mentioned the fruit pancakes and I agree, they were superb, and after a week's worth of full Irish breakfasts I was relieved to have a non-egg option. The B&B owner, Carmel, was quick with suggestions for nearby dining and very helpful and personable.
