We stayed at Kerry Ocean Lodge recently and have only great things to say about it! Had a lovely bright spacious room with a sea view which was spotless, really nicely decorated and had tea&coffee facilities/tv/hairdryer AND wifi. The cooked breakfast was very good and the continental breakfast also had a great selection (cold meats, cheeses etc, not just cereal & fruit). Service and the general hospitality was fantastic - we got a lovely welcome and the hotel manager couldn't have been more helpful with directions, advice etc., there was a real family atmosphere. Also there is a very conmfy guest sitting room with a large TV (and Sky!) if you want to veg while planning your itinerary. Best of all though was getting a 4/5 star hotel experience for the same rate as a B&B, we were really amazed at the overall comfort, service & quality for a very pocket-friendly price. Would recommend it for anyone really - couples, families, group trips. Glenbeigh itself it also very beautiful with loads for everyone to do, a gorgeous part of Kerry.

We had a lovely time in glenbeigh, and our stay in Kerry Ocean Lodge, was super. The friendly service and delicious breakfast set us up each am. The bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated. We had a great stay here, and would happily return. The manager Eugene is really helpful and made us very welcome - we were planning on a walking weekend and the journey time into the Reeks, out to Valentia, etc, was significantly shorter than previous trips when we stayed in Killarney. It was also a much better spot to get an uninterrupted nights sleep, but still have a good pub just a hop and a skip down the road to keep us happy!

we booked two triple rooms but one was given away before we got there and we were given a double and single- a bit difficult when you have children! I assumed from the internet pictures it was near the water- it is not. The breakfasts were great and the staff very helpful and friendly
