We spent 10 days travelling around Ireland and without a doubt this was the best value for money. The place is gorgeous! The Gannon's are great hosts. Everything you need is there including laundry, really big couches, huge TV, comfortable beds and stunning decor. Nearly forgot the breakfast - magnificent!!!! Do not leave Ireland until you stay here

We stayed at Gannon's for two nights. We were met on arrival by Gerry (owner)- couldn't ask for a better host. Friendly, relaxed and accommodating. Entire accommodation was spotlessly clean. The interior is finished to the highest of standards. The kitchen and living area is accessible 24/7. A great space that has everything we could have possibly need during our stay, from tea and coffee facilities to the utensils for cooking. Breakfast was excellent, homemade scones and bread along with fresh fruit and cereals. Delicious and healthy start to the day. Each morning the owners came to the kitchen to say hello at breakfast time, adding to a lovely touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend staying at Gannon's B&B. You will be surprised by what you get for your money!! Location couldn't be better right at the heart of the town.

Just back from a weekend stay at these appartments with another couple.Where do I start,the location is ideal right in the centre of the town with a wide choice of restaurants & bars all within walking distance.Supervalue is accross the road for those who chose to eat in the evenings.The apartment we took was huge 3 double bedrooms,1ensuite,main bathroom,amazing sitting room with very comfy chairs,plazma with all the channels,the decor was to die for!Huge kitchen area fully equipped toaster,juicer plenty of delph & utincils ideal for those who are cooking in.Lovely dinning area seats 6.Utility room with washing and drying facicities.To the back there is a huge balcony area very child friendly,with a lrage bench & seating area ideal for dining outdoors weather permitting!On the Friday night we arrived Gerry the owner came up & lit the stove for us it wasn't cold but the affect of the fire is always welcommed.The bedrooms are very spacious and decorated to the highest standard as is all the appartment.They do offer breakfast too but we decided to self cater.Overall the are definately the nicest cleanest appartments that I have ever stayed in & would love to return in the future.

We only went away for 3 days but the weather was so bad for the 1st day we headed back early from Westport via Clidfen. Having not booked anything, we were looking for a B&B, somewhere central but quiet. When we got to Clifden, there was not much happening but we decided to stay. We stopped in the square and immediately spotted Gannon B&B. Bad weather, me grumpy, bad roads - really set the scene!! We met the owner Siobhan and enquired about the B&B. Siobhan took us for a tour -
This was no ordinary B&B, Not only was there a fab king size bed with en-suite but we were also given complete access to the kitchen and lounge area- It was a brill apartment (for the B&B rate) Huge TV in the lounge, very comfy, great view of the main square in Clifden. We booked on the spot. As it was midweek, the town was quiet so we went for a short walk. Because of the apartment and facilities, we decided to cook for ourselves that evening. The apartment had everything we need - it was great. When we came back from the walk, the stove had been lit and the place was lovely & warm. Gerry (Siobhans) hsband had lit the fire for us - more bonus points. He also prepared the breakfast the next day - really healthy continental which we really enjoyed.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and even stayed for a second night. I'd recommend it to any visitor to Clifden. great place, Great hosts as well. I think this was their first year open but very high standard all round.
