Went for New Year with my wife. We have stayed in very good hotels in many countries but this matches or exceeds anything we have experienced. Great food, great rooms, great atmosphere. Excellent all round - thank you

Where to start?!? Dingle was hands down our favorite part of Ireland and Castlewood house made it even better! The hosts were outstanding, providing us with a map and pointing out great pubs and restaurants as well as other not to miss locations. The ring below Dingle is home to some of the most beutiful landscape I have ever laid eyes on. Regarding the B&B itself, it is beautiful, well kept, best shower and night's sleep we had on our entire trip. The breakfast was phenominal as well! We couldn't have asked for more! I would definately recommend to friends and family!

Stayed here a few years ago and never wrote a review. It has been one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Hosts were so helpful & the place was immaculate. Massive bathtub and luxurious bed sheets etc ..weather wasn't great when we were there but complimentary dvds so we were sorted!amazing pancakes for breakfast,one of the best places to stay in Ireland :-)

Having toured much of Ireland, we were aware there are a number of great B & Bs to be found and Castlewood certainly falls into this category. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with good quality outfitting. I can also confirm the speck of dust a previous reviewer mentioned has since been removed and the place is spotless.
Breakfast was as good as you get anywhere and the kitchen was more than happy to customise menu dishes so choice would surely cater for all. Afternoon tea and coffee (and mince pies) in the drawing room was also a nice touch.
So, when in Dingle and wishing to be spoilt, I'd thoroughly recommend you look up Castlewood.
