The apartment and the rooms were lovely, very clean and to a high spec. there was one bedroom, kitchen/living room and bathroom. The bath was very small and i could only sit up in it and not lie back very comfortably.
The room was advertised as having continental breakfast and we were given cereals (cornflakes, alpen museli and wheatabix), fruit, bread, jam and milk. This was not what I had been expecting as I was hoping for croissants etc.
there were two of us staying for two nights and we were only given two water glasses and two wine glasses, as well as plates/bowls etc. This seemed a bit on the tight side to be honest.
Although there were tea, coffee, hot chocolate (only 2 sachets) and sugar provided, there was no salt/pepper, sauces etc left so when we wanted to cook a meal we had to have brought these things with us or bought them from the supermarket.
We paid for the apartments by bank transfer as requested and the money was taken from our account twice which was really bad! We were not informed of this by the owner but discovered it when our statements were checked.
The location was good as it was 20 mins from bakewell, tissington trail and chatsworth. there is a bingo hall round the corner and a restaurant 20 seconds' walk away. There is quite a lot of
noise from the road and planes going over early in the morning. The window in bedroom could be shut from the inside but would not lock.
All in all it was ok, not fantastic and the little things that should have been there were lacking.
