“A wonderful place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

3 of us went to stay here for one night and it could not have been improved. The location is stunning (surrounded by fields and the rooms have lovely views) and the feel of the place is so welcoming. The rooms were spotless, beautifully presented and were stocked full of teas, coffees and treats. It was a perfect place to stay for the type of trip that we went for.

There was such a wide variety of food available for breakfast and one thing that can be guaranteed is that you wont leave hungry! i had probably a better meal at Pickwick lodge farm than i have in most hotels I’ve stayed at. It was made with all local produce and the taste was magnificent.

The location is also good. You need the car to get to most places but its very near to bath and other little villages. We went to lacock and corsham on the first day then into bath on the second and no journey took more than 15 minutes.

I would highly recommend it and if I ever go back to bath I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

“Lovely place, lovely welcome.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

Having stayed here last year we were looking forward to a return visit. We were not disappointed and delighted to get the same comfortable room as before. Gill made us most welcome and made us feel like old friends. The breakfast was perfect with home and local produce - with details where to obtain helpfully listed. A visit to nearby Corsham is a must with interesting local shops and friendly service.

“Charming home near Bath & Lacock”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

My husband and I and a friend stayed one night in a triple at the Pickwick Lodge Farm. Our room was lovely and we had exclusive use of the bathroom down the hall. The original house was built in the 1600s; the latter section was built in the 1800s. It is a working farm where they raise beef cattle and grow wheat and canola on 700 acres [part of which is at another location]. The house is a 10 minute drive from Lacock village and about 20 minutes from Bath. Gill, our hostess, was friendly and gave us some helpful travel tips. Breakfast was delicious. We'd recommend this lodging option for folks traveling in the area with a car.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2011

Perfect located farm that is central to both Bath city and the Cotswalds. No problems parking. Lovely walk to the pub. Very quite and extremely friendly hosts who gave us excellent information on where to go and what to do. Excellent food and roomy accomodation.
