Would just like to say that we had another excellent relaxing break at the Strandeen, Portstewart (have been 3 times before). The accommodation is fantastic, the location idyllic and Debbie the hostess, is always very warm and welcoming and works very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You'll want for nothing. The en-suite accommodation is spotless and extremely comfortable. A home away from home. If we come to this lovely part of the world, Strandeen is undoubtably the place we head for. When you wake in the morning, having had the most restful sleep ever, you can either have a continental or traditional breakfast which is varied with some lovely homemade baking. You can then treat yourself to some of the lovely local walks, the lovely Strand Beach, the Coastal cliff walk into Portstewart or jump into the car for a drive to experience the spendour and the delights of the Antrim Coast. Ireland isn't that far away either as Donegal is only a car and short ferry trip away. Coleraine for a spot of shopping is another option. You're never stuck for something to do, and at the end of a day you know you have this lovely warm place to return to and another dreamy blissful sleep to look forward to. Strandeen never disappoints and it is truely a warm experience staying here. Looking forward to the next visit, Thanks again for everything.

“Less bed and breakfast more boutique hotel with a warm welcome”

We stayed here for a night as we were going to a wedding in portstewart golf club.

Our host Debbie was so welcoming even though we arrived quite late.

Our room had a fabulous sea view. Was equipped with very high quality bedding, fluffy towels and robes. The room was spotless. The bathroom had l'occitane products.

The tea tray had water tea coffee and biscuits.

Breakfast was great and served in a lovely lounge. Nothing was a problem to our host.

For a true northern Irish welcome, a great ulster fry and a lovely stay, hard to beat.

My only criticism and it is utterly petty - no hairdryer in the room but as I say utterly petty!

Wonderful - go!

“Beautifully and tastefully decorated!!”

I spent three nights at Strandeen in Portstewart and had a lovely time. The B and B has views of the sea and Portstewart Strand. There is a walkway straight across from the B and B so you can walk to the beach or back towards Portstewart itself. Debbie has decorated her home tastely and paid great attention to detail, even to the fabulous head board and matching surround on the bed I slept it in!! Breakfast was just want I loved, porridge, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, coffee or tea. Of course a fry is optional but I find it too heavy first thing so opted for the more healthy start to the day. Debbie even treated me to some of her home made scones which she bakes each day on her aga, to have with morning coffee. I slept well each evening drifting off to the sound of the waves whilst sinking into the softest pillows!

You will not be disappointed with Strandeen, you will have a relaxing time there, a beautiful home, where a warm welcome awaits!!

“A truly 4 star experience”

We lucked into Strandene by chance. Another B&B we attempted to book with was full and
recommended "Debbie's on Strand Road". Turned out to be the best B&B we experienced in our 4 weeks of travel. Everything from the warm greeting given us by Debbie and Gary, to the beautiful, modern and comfortable en-suite accommodations, magnificent breakfast, great view overlooking Port Stewart beach. Port Stewart is a lovely seaside town with magnificent links golf courses and very close to the Giants Causeway. We only stayed one night but upon Debbies recommendation had a top notch meal at a very reasonable cost at the Port Stewart Golf Club only a few minutes walk along a sea front walkway where we watched the sun set over the ocean while we dined. Debbie, you're a gem. Thanks for looking after that little problem we had and for allowing us to meet your two beautiful boxer dogs. We can't recommend Strandene highly enough.

My husband and I are just back from Strandeen House. The House is very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. It is situated overlooking the sea, the view is wonderful and so peaceful. The breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, greek yogurt, croissants and a yummy cooked breakfast! We enjoyed our stay so much I am taking my mum in a couple of weeks time.
