Stayed here with a work colleague while working in Skipton. Very homely and intermit guest house not far from the town centre. Rooms are basic, clean and have everything you need for a short stay.
Only down side is the limited parking in the area and close proximity to the busy main road, but this didn't cause any problems during the stay.
Great Value for money!

Arrived at 6.00pm rather wet & muddy after a 70 mile bike ride along the Leeds & Liverpool canal. Bike stored safely in yard and room spacious wth en sute. Breakfast was superb and was my way by nine next morning. Owners very particular about keeping the room clean - rightly so, as I was in a bit of a state, mud wise! Very friendly and I would definately go back again. Thanks for all your help. Got to Leeds at 2.00pm in glorious sunshine!

Stayed at Cravendale on a short walking break with some friends. The B&B website said all rooms were en-suite. This was not the case as the twin room (room 2) has only a sink. Also this room faces on to the main road and was very noisy.

The owner smokes in the back yard and smoke wafts throughout the house to the point that now back home I can smell cigarette smoke on my clothes.

Breakfast was OK as was the location.

If I went back to Skipton I would book somewhere else.

Just came back from a short break spent at Cravendal Guest house, and what a little gem that is!!!!!
Room was spotless, breakfast was divine and the owner was really nice and friendly.
We will use again as we have enoyed our stay very much and fell in love with Skipton.
