We stayed with our ten year old and sixteen year old daughters. Friends of ours also stayed in the hotel which is a lovely old stone building. We were travelling between camp sites and had just one night in the hotel. We were given a very warm welcome by Fabienne and her wonderful Bernese mountain dog, who also makes guests very welcome! The en suite rooms were tastefully furnished in traditional style and were clean and comfortable. On opening the lovely old window shutters we looked out at the small but very nice pool in the back garden. The garden itself is very well kept and is a nice sitting out or sunbathing spot. Fabienne was very helpful in directing us to a good restaurant that evening and the following morning she served a lovely continental style breakfast, with plenty of bread, croissants and coffee on offer, as well as fruit juices and some cereals. She was also good enough to allow us use the very comfortable sitting area for a short celebration with friends for my wife's birthday. The only slight drawback is that the hotel is located on a roundabout and there may be a little noise from the road in some rooms - but we had no such problems in our room (at the back). It is a short walk into the centre of Souillac which is an attractive and atmospheric town. A good base for exploring the region or (like us) for a very comfortable stop over. If you are driving there it is worth reserving a garage space as there seemed to be limited parking in the immediate vicinity. Rooms were €60 with breakfast €7 per person
