A lovely hotel in the middle of the country side in Luxemburg
There are some steep winding roads before you arrive at the hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights in a superior room including halfboard. First dat a 4 course meal next day a seven course meal.
The receptiondesk: Friendly arrival. They speak besides French , Dutch ( Handy for me) and probably English too. We were escorted to our room by one of the staff.

The room: We booked a Superior room: Spaciaous, modern and with a balcony facing the river Sure. Bathroom quite complete with enough toiletries to make it complete
Room and bathroom were spotless clean. The bathroom had a jaccuzi bath and there is a separate shower. Including a hairdryer. A small issue the bed was a little to soft.
There is a tv with of course al Luxemburg channels and for us two dutch channels ned. 1 and sbs 6. I am not sure about englisch speaking channels.
The room also had a minibar and a small safe.
There is free Wifi in all rooms ( and in the lobby downstairs) You may smoke in the rooms expect in the public area’s.

The restaurant : The staff: efficient and friendly. The food. The 4 course menu was very good and tastefull. The 7-course also but was for us to much of a good thing
We skipped one course. The winelist: enough choice red and white. White around 26 euro’s a bottle and red way over 35 euro’s. A beer 2.50 euro . A bottle (small Spa blue) 3.50 euro.
The breakfast: Coffee and thee are served at table the breakfast is a buffet. Enough choice to please. Cerials, breadrolls, croissants, normal bread, cheese, meats, jams, fresh fruits, bacon scrambled eggs, fruitjuice. You can boil your own egg and toast you bread if you like.
An exelent way to start your day.

The terrace is cosy to sit ( when the weather is good) and faces the river sure so you have a nice vieuw. There are lounge chairs and in the evening they put on lights and light a fire so its pleasant to sit there after dinner in the evening for a late drink.

The hotel has an elevator. We loved staying here for a couple of days nice people good food and a great environment. We probably will go back in future times. Ideal for nature-lovers . Ideal to maken trips in the surroundings including a visit to Luxemburg city

We stayed here for one night during a two week euro trip. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are very large and nicely decorated with lovely bathrooms, the staff were extremely friendly and polite. The hotel is alongside the river bank which was beautiful and has the magnificent castle overlooking it. We had drinks on the patio which were very reasonably priced and took a walk along the river bank and accross the bridge and back again via the ford which was fun. Its is very peaceful here, with plenty of romantic seats around the grounds to chill out on, we would have liked to have stayed longer. We booked B&B and the breakfast was superb. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for a gastronomical weekend (2 nights) but ended up adding 1 night more for extra sight-seeing. My girlfriend booked the weekend with a travel agent.

The hotel is situated at a very nice spot in a deep valley and you can get a view of Bourscheid castle if it's not too misty. The hotel staff was very friendly as we checked in (the whole weekend actually) and the manager is a very friendly (of course also commercial) guy.

The superior room was tidy, modern and warm coloured with a view on the river next to the hotel. The bed was a boxspring combination (bonnel suspension + soft matras with pocket suspension) which slept very nice (we bought one ourselves afterwards). The bathroom was a bit bland with shiny white tiles, but clean and comfy with a nice bubblebath and separate shower.

The breakfast buffet in the morning is very good, fresh and has everything you would want.

Dinners at the restaurant are excellent and if you really don't like something on the menu you get a few other options, if you ask for it (I did it and it was no big deal). The food that comes to your table is of a high standard. If you like a wine on the card, you can get a whole bottle (70 cl) and save the rest for later (or finish up after dinner in the cosy bar) or you can choose from a nice variety of smaller bottles (37cl) (which is rare these days).

last: if you wish to do nothing more than staying at a hotel, go to a hotel with a spa and much recreation please. If you wish to sitesee Luxembourg and come back to a wonderful hotel for a nice dinner and relaxing bubblebath, you will be very delighted with this place.
