Stayed last weekend to visit family in the area. For £52 for us (2 adults 2 kids) it was good value. Room was spotless and stow-out beds that had been provided for the kids were comfy too as I ended up being pushed out by our 2-year old. No noise troubles whatsoever.
We have stayed a few times at the Park Royal (over the road) when visiting before, this time they only had £160 a night family rooms and doubt we would have slept any more soundly. We were just looking for somewhere to crash, gym and pool facilities not really relevant for us and the rooms are no more pleasant. Their brekkie is better but you've already shelled out for that.
Did not eat at the adjoining pub, but did get a few bottles to bring back to the room and bar staff were very friendly. Pub food is seldom good wherever you go, esp. from a chain. What do folks expect at these prices? Dominos are just 2 mins by car down the road in Stockton Heath, which has a multitude of places to eat.
